The Wars of the Roses has been one of my favourite historical periods for more than twenty years. Many years ago I painted up an army of Wargames Foundry Lancastrians, but sold them to a guy who worked at Games Workshop in Nottingham. Needless to say I regretted the sale for the next twenty years! When these lovely chaps appeared on the market, it took approximately three seconds to decide to buy a box. These are my first attempt and I will probably paint up plenty more in time, although I need to find some decent rules before I go much further.
