Two more Germanic invaders for the Late Romans to deal with. One thing I like about the shield transfers for the Saxons, is that many of them are plain and simple, but look ragged and tattered or sword cut. My one criticism of the West Wind figures is that they come with hands which need to be drilled out to accept the weapons they are supplied with. As you can see from the figure on the left, it makes the weapon hand look somewhat clumsy.
