Another boost to the forces of the Saxon invader. The shield designs are much plainer, but they still look good. Again, they need quite a bit of work to tidy them up once they are in place. I put the transfers on the shields before I start painting the figures, which gives them plenty of time to adhere properly before I start messing about attaching the shield to the figure. Once the shield is attached, I start painting around the edges and doing the shield boss.
