Not a lot of painting done since the last update, but I have managed to complete eight of the Wars of the Roses plastics produced by Perry Miniatures. I found the billmen a bit of a challenge to put together and some green stuff was required to fill in gaps where the arms didn’t line up properly. However, they do look pretty good once they are painted, dipped and varnished. Pictures can be found in the skirmish section. After the Perry figures, I went back to painting up a few more Saxons and Late Romans to use with our house rules, Hoc ad Bellum, but then I made the mistake of looking at Crusader’s early WWII French! They look too good to resist, so I probably wont!
